WHAT IS The VANISHING AMERICA PROJECT?
The Vanishing America Project is a mulit-year journey I’ve undertaken to use my skill as a photographer and a writer to promote conservation and raise awareness about what we are losing – our culture, our wildlife, and our landscape – in hopes that some of it will still be around for future generations to enjoy.

The First Ever CARBON-NEUTRAL EXPEDITION!
Coming this April...
Organized by leaders in the conservation-minded off-road community, a small group of dedicated expeditioners will be traveling from Park City, Utah to Amado, Arizona in time to attend Overland Expo 2010!
This amazing group will run the entire route of almost 1000 miles on established off-highway routes and will not consume a single drop of petroleum or produce an once of carbon for the atmosphere through a combination of alternative fuels and carbon credits.
