Las Cruces

Driving, driving, driving. If you want to know how my day went, just pick one of those three subjects, and that will tell you everything.

I'm currently in Las Cruces, New Mexico (land of the incredible sunsets). I've been driving since 7am and am beat.

In my speeches and presentations, I try to encourage people to stay off the Interstates, take the back roads, and "stop and smell the roses" whenever they can. It makes for a much more interesting and enjoyable journey. Unfortunately, I can't take my own advice this time, as I am running on a very tight schedule and have to be back in Atlanta in a few days.

On a side note... I'm working diligently to get permission to join the Humane Society out West in their work with the Wild Mustangs. Below are the links. If anyone has any pull with the Humane Society, please let me know. This could be an incredible opportunity for both them and The Vanishing America Project to produce some amazing work.
