Thunderstorm in Chattanooga

I'm sitting in BABS in the Camping World campground waiting for some repairs to be completed and watching the thunderstorm rage outside. It's exactly what I needed on this difficult afternoon.

Thunderstorms are a great opportunity to sit back, relax, and catch up on some quality personal time. I think that's why Mother Nature invented them -- to force us to take a "time-out" from the rush and madness of too many stressful days.

The wind is howling, the branches are swaying and the trees are tossing pinecones on the roof. The roar of the rain is not quite deafening, but more akin to an hypnotic "white noise" that has the ability to calm the nerves and reboot the soul.

With all the stress that comes with trying to keep this project afloat, I look forward to the occassional storm to help me wash away my worries, reflect, and then start fresh when the sun comes out again.
