TIMBER

Trees. Arbors. Woods. Forests… Timber. We need it to build. Animals need it to build, too. Mother Nature needs it as well. We all know how important trees and forests are to our civilizations and to our planet. And, for too long, we’ve known that, but done little about it. Now, we have the technology, the intelligence, and the need to take care of our arbors. Forest management, tree farms, harvesting, National Parks, controlled burns, clearcutting… these are all ways we determine a tree’s fate – which is fine – if we do it with an understanding of trees’ importance to the cycle of life. If we pay attention and manage these resources properly, we can have all the lumber we need, and we can have all the natural forests we want. We just need to take care to understand how it can all work together, and with a little effort, it will.
